Kulturkommun!
Bollnäs kommun har landets bästa kulturskola, enligt Lärarförbundets årliga granskning av landets kommuner. Varför då? Ja en orsak kan ju vara att man där ser kulturen som en del av kommunala infrastrukturen. Men visst, det är ju rent teoretiskt förstås. Men i praktiken då? Som ett exempel så har Bollnäs kommun valt att satsa på att bygga ett nytt kulturcenter för 77 miljoner kronor hellre än att bygga en ny bandyhall. Och detta med ett bandylag på orten som senast i mars spelade SM-final. Det är nästan så jag ramlar baklänges av pur upphetsning och glädje. Fan så kul! Hur många invånare har Bollnäs? 26 000 varav 13 000 i centralorten. I Bollnäs går man inte med baken före in i framtiden.

In due time, Lars. In due time. First, however, Katrineholm has to get from underneath some of the poor decisions the current powers-that-be made with some of their so-called "investments" that failed to sufficiently consider competition from other communities and "What happens without a backup plan?" along with the long term negative environmental impact and safety issues given the proximity of the warehouse to residences. They failed "big time" to remember fundamental rules of investment and, thus, "bet the house" on that Logistikcentrum while better opportunities were lost. (That "biz" ranking highlights what I've been saying all along about their biz skills, i.e., their lacking foresight and sufficient consideration for exploiting the right opportunities.)
